It's been awhile but I'm here! Just busy with ??? I don't even know what.

My drawing has slowed down a bit, but I am trying to get back into it. I think I might have to start a daily sketchbook routine again to keep things moving. It is so easy to be the first thing to go when I have a full day.

Something I do is keep a running list on my phone of words and phrases that stick out to me as I am reading articles. I have probably done this for around 5 years now, so the list has grown super long. Some of them feel so obvious now it's funny, like: self-care, attention economy, mindfulness, athleisure, instagrammers!... when I wrote them down, it was the first time I had ever heard the term. Weird how quickly some ideas have been absorbed.

It is hard to pinpoint exactly what triggers me to add to my list. I think it has to do with trying to describe our moment in time. Like what phrases and words really capture the feeling of today. That is the best I can describe it. It's weird. I keep thinking I have to do something with them, like an art project, but maybe it is good to just have them to kind of meditate on...

Anyway, I thought I would share the list here because it is kind of interesting:
