I used to play on the internet a lot, back when it was still Web 1.5.

I hand-coded my first blog in 2006, and then had several other templated blogs over the years on Blogspot (here and here), Wordpress (here and semi-professionally on a defunct blog that was associated with this instagram), tumblr (here, here and here), and maybe even others I have forgotten about. 

I used to really like the internet, but after having my kids, I literally closed my laptop and didn't look back (that much). My online life petered out slowly in a way that was painful but also probably good for me. Now, 10 or so years later, the landscape has wholly changed and I'm not sure where I fit in.

I am starting this blog because it seems lo-fi and retro - and a place where I can develop some ideas and enjoy posting and linking again.
