Such a good album! 

Recently read The Giver and it blew my mind. I haven't stopped thinking about it. It is a YA book but I heard it was good and I wanted to read it before I passed it along to the kids (which I didn't end up doing regrettably, but that's another story). 

There is an audiobook version you should be able to get at your local library through the libby app if you are interested.

I also really enjoyed this article which talks about the books written by Nobel prize winner Kazuo Ishiguro. Some of the themes of his work and The Giver had cross-over so I thought that was interesting. 

Dystopian futures, the ills of a society trying to increase perfection and convenience. Red flags!
