Found these covers from the feminist publication Branching Out on this website I stumbled across the other day: Rise up Feminist Archive. 

It is, as their instagram bio states, "a digital archive of feminist activism in Canada from the 1970s to the 1990s". Pretty cool.

Also super cool are the other publication covers. So much inspiration here! I love the pastel coloured photocopy paper and the cut and paste aesthetic. Clip art, hand drawings, typewriter copy. They are all speaking my love language. 

Thought these black and white photos on the Branching Out covers were really strong too. As far as I can tell they were taken by photographer Alice Baumann-Rondez.

The publication came out of - surprise! - Edmonton, Alberta, which historically does not have a reputation for being very liberal. Who knew?
