It's 2021 and I'm making a blog because I can't deal with (contemporary) social media.

And even though blogs are slightly social, it is just the right amount of clunky and slow-moving and un-quantify-able to feel good. No more likes! No more follows! I even turned off comments, I'm sorry. 

Maybe I just want more of a broadcast situation, like a broadcast channel where I don't even get Nielsen ratings.
